Outright Purchase or Rental?

2 choices either buy or rent. Comparison between buy and rent as per illustration below:

Ownership	Own Coway unit immediately on that time of purchase.	Coway Unit  will  only be  yours after completing 5 years rental  period. Should  you  decide  to  terminate after  completing the minimum period  of  2 years,  the unit must  be  returned  to  Coway.
Servicing	Free Service for 1 year. Upon expiry of the 1 year period, you are highly recommended to subscribe to membership servicing.	The rental option already includes membership servicing where our friendly Coway Lady or Service Technician will provide regular servicing every 2 months throughout the entire rental period

Comparing outright purchase and rental options over a period of 5 years, the rental option will cost just slightly more as compared to the outright purchase option, depending on which Coway model is being considered.

The rental option for Coway Petit will cost 26% or RM1400 more as compared to outright purchase with annual renewal of membership servicing, whilst Coway Mach will cost 31% or RM1600 more respectively.

Based on the above differences between outright purchase and rental options, it now depends on whether you want to commit to high initial payment under the outright purchase option or the more affordable low monthly rental.
